Crash
An air tanker drops fire retardant on the Burnside fire in Hope Valley. Several Hope Valley businesses and homes were evacuated after threatened by the 100-acre fire along Blue Lakes Road about a mile south of Highway 88 in Alpine County south of Lake Tahoe, Calif. Minutes after this photograph was taken, the plane tragically crashed killing all crew inside the plane. Sept. 1, 2008.
